Well, today is Veterans day. My Day. Kinda cool. Last night after trying to pound the info on the review through the kids brains I ran home wished Mom happy birfday and tried to convince her to come to the Vet day concert at the school (No such luck) sooooooooooooooooooo I hop back in the car and head back to school. (Perhaps someone can explain WHY the traffic at 6 PM going away from rush hour was worse than at 6:45 AM heading with the Rushhour..) So I get there sign in as an Army Vet and sit with some pals from school.

My gods our school orchestra is increadible. So many violins and all in tune. They played well enough that they got me crying. Out of 50 or so Vets there (One had been in the service 33 years... ::flaps::) only 2 of us were gals. Just so happens it was the Aunt of one of my students from last year who is still one of my faves.

Today the kids were so great. It is unbelievable the number that said Happy Veteran's day or even Thank you.

The highlight of going to events at school is the looks on the kids faces when they see you at THEIR event. :-) Warm fuzzies ALL around!
